Eoghan O'Connell was an All-American at Wake Forest University, where he was the recipient of the Arnold Palmer Scholarship. Eoghan was a member of the winning Walker Cup team in 1989, representing the British and Irish team. He was unbeaten in four matches, including a half with Phil Mickelson. Eoghan also was on the winning Eisenhower Trophy World Amateur team in 1988 and was a Medalist at the U.S. Amateur at Merion in 1989.
As a professional, he won the Swedish Matchplay and Barcelona Open in 1990. Eoghan is delighted to represent The Fox Club as a managing partner and co-re designer of the course with his longtime friend Darren Clarke.
